My Pretty Mermaids were made in 1991 by Hasbro Playskool. These colorful fantasy merdolls were perfect for My Little Pony fans and for those who just saw Disney's "The Little Mermaid" in theaters!

My Pretty Mermaids can move in five different areas. Their arms move up and down, their heads turn, and there's a joint in their tail and fin that allows them to sit down or stand upright. Every My Pretty Mermaid came with a symbol thier tail that is invisible until ice water is placed on it! Once their symbol is revealed you can check the symbols chart that came on the back of their cards to find out your mermaid's name!

There were several different set of My Pretty Mermaids and some came with dresses and accessories!

My Pretty Mermaids are sometimes confused with Sea Wees, however they are two different toy lines and Pretty Mermaids are more colorful, have unique symbol designs, and can more more of their body parts than Sea Wees.
